Ushering Ministry

The Usher Committee is the group responsible for welcoming members of the congregation and visitors to the Church. This committee is composed of a: president, vice-president, secretary, assistant secretary, and an advisory member. The welcoming committee will be appointed by the pastor of the Church.

The function of the welcoming committee is to welcome visitors and members of the Church warmly at the door with a big smile on their face. This committee has the duty to help the visitor fill out the business card, to make him sit down, to collect the cards and submit them to the pastor before the end of the service, to give sustained assistance to visitors, to thank visitors after the service, and mailing thank you cards during the visiting week.
