Youth Ministry
The Youth Association of the Haitian Baptist Church Crossroads is governed by the (5) fundamental principles which guide young people in accordance with the Bible, from which they are all drawn:
Confessing Christ—Romans 10:9
- Serving Christ — John 12:26
- Being loyal to the Church of Christ— Romans 12:4-5
- Commune with Youth who belong to Christ --1 John 1:3-7
- Encourage young people to accept the sacrament of baptism by immersion — Marc 1:4-10.
The objectives of the Youth Association are as follows:
- Evangelize the young people of the Church and the community,
- Encourage and lead young people to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Assist in the integration of young people into the life of the Church.
- Support and support young people and train them to serve Christ.
- Send into the world young adults capable of serving God in all things and in all circumstances.
The Youth Association can be divided into two branches: that of young people aged 16 at least, called "Youth Senior"; and that of young people aged 10 to 15, called "Youth Junior". The Junior branch is led by:
- a president
- a vice president
- a secretary
- a treasurer
- a coordinator, responsible for public relations of the branch.
The Senior Branch is led by:
- A President
- Enjoy a good testimony in church, at home, and elsewhere.
- To be obedient, wise, and submissive to his parents (young people aged 16 or less) and to the authorities established in the Church and those of the community.
- Must abstain from all immorality such as: fornication, drugs, alcohol, and all kinds of illegal substances and carnal immoralities.
- Be endowed with the knowledge necessary to be a capable and competent leader in order to flourish and develop the youth association.
