THE DIACONATE

The Diaconate is the second spiritual and administrative authority of the Church. It has the duty to:

  1. assist and support the pastor in his pastoral ministry.
  2. contribute to the spiritual, financial, and numerical development of the Church.
  3. help to uphold, strengthen, and establish the foundations of pastoral ministry.
  4. pray and visit the elect of God.
  5. ensure that the pastor is well cared for from the point of view: spiritual, economic, moral, family, social, etc. (eg, prayer service organized at the pastor's home)
  6. submit a detailed quarterly report of member visits to the
  7. participate in prayer meetings at home and at church.
