THE DIACONATE
The Diaconate is the second spiritual and administrative authority of the Church. It has the duty to:
- assist and support the pastor in his pastoral ministry.
- contribute to the spiritual, financial, and numerical development of the Church.
- help to uphold, strengthen, and establish the foundations of pastoral ministry.
- pray and visit the elect of God.
- ensure that the pastor is well cared for from the point of view: spiritual, economic, moral, family, social, etc. (eg, prayer service organized at the pastor's home)
- submit a detailed quarterly report of member visits to the
- participate in prayer meetings at home and at church.
